USAID-FUNDED MERIT AND NEEDS-BASED SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Pakistan in corporation with USA has started USAID-FUNDED MERIT SCHOLARSHIP for academically qualified students who cannot continue higher education due to lack of resources.US Merit and need based scholarship (MNBSP).Over 3000 scholarships are granted to students in 30 partner universities across Pakistan.50% of the scholarships are reserved for female students.

This scholarship is applicable for HEC selected universities at graduate and undergraduate level.

Students who are able to make through admission test and fulfil the respective universities eligibility criteria, are supported by HEC through USAID scholarship.

The need based scholarship criteria covers the following expenses;

• ·         Full Tuition fee for duration of entire course
• ·        Books
• ·         Boarding and lodging
• ·         Transportation  
• ·         Academic expenses

Application forms are also available at university’s financial aid office.

Students who learn about this scholarship during their degree are also considered eligible for this scholarship.

Students already receiving financial assistance /scholarship from university or any other institute are not eligible to apply.
